Efficient Innovation

Company Profile

Efficient Innovation is a SME of 50 employees headquartered in Montpellier, with 8 local offices in France. For 15 years, Efficient Innovation contributed to the preparation and implementation of European and national RTD collaborative projects involving major industrial stakeholders concerned with production cost optimisation. Our proven methodology, a two-stage cost-efficiency methodology using the diversity control diagnostic and product optimization process, is adaptable to specific and complex RTD projects. Having helped major aeronautical and air transport industrials reconciling their cost objectives and their needs, the company accumulated a strong and valuable expertise in the cost-efficiency field.

Efficient Innovation has a long track record in carrying out European and national Research and Technological Development collaborative projects in the cost-efficiency area. Efficient Innovation has also previously developed cost-efficiency methodology on a research-based continuous improvement scheme following to 15 years of industrial endorsement.

In 2011, a merge with HLP Développement has led the company to gather diverse talents such as PhDs, engineers in various S&T domains. The strength of HLP Développement was its expertise as a service provider in relation with the European Commission Framework Programme (FP) participation. Strong of 15 years of experience and a direct contribution to close to 400 FP project proposals submission to the European Commission and the management of 60 of them, HLP Développement built up recognised skills and knowledge in relation with EC-funded projects as well as close working relationships with major European public and private research organisations.

Efficient Innovation thus demonstrates a dual expertise: EU-funded projects coordination and management as well as a specific method using cost-efficiency criteria analysis and assessment. For the period 2011 to 2013, Efficient Innovation was granted a certification (n° 417879509) under the French Research Tax Credit as an eligible organisation carrying out for thirds operations of research and development in the area of methodologies to improve Innovation efficiency in the industry:

  • New uses definition
  • Research and multicriteria technologies evaluation
  • Methodologies to assess value of a product
