Eurocopter helicopters in service in 149 countries. Eurocopter offers the most comprehensive civil and military helicopter range in the world and is fully committed to safety as the most important aspect of its business.

This excellent commercial position at global scale has been gained in the last decades thanks to intensive and permanent RTD efforts that allowed offering products and services more value for money to the customers.

Even though cost efficiency may not be the primary driver in many research projects performed at EU level, it always remains an essential concern and constraint for an aircraft manufacturer for obvious competitiveness reasons. Within projects concerning design and production of structures, design tools, on-board systems or maintenance, Eurocopter considers the trade-off between cost efficiency and technical and environmental merits of solutions under study and favors solutions that offer the best global compromise while other solutions will generally not be implemented in our commercial products.
